In the mid of March, Microsoft’s MVP Summit took place at Microsoft’s headquarter in Redmond and in Bellevue in Washington. For us, this was a great week for getting the latest news about Microsoft products and technologies and for networking and meeting friends.
MVP summit is an exclusive event for all active MVPs and Regional Directors (RDs). Microsoft trusts their community-leaders and the content is strictly confidential. We used the week for learning, building relationships and giving feedback which is simply great to directly interact with the product groups.
Also, for most of us, this event feels like a family reunion and we had a lot of fun, see #MVPSummit. Of course, there were the typical No Cameras! signs snapshots..
…and a lot of cool group photos and around the event. To share some impressions and memories, I added some personal tweets and snapshots from that week combined with tweets from #MVPSummit here (click to enlarge). Before the event we enjoyed the sunshine and went to Bainbridge Island with our friend Heike and had dinner with colleagues and friends…
… then, we had a full week’s schedule.
So, there were more than 2.000 MVP’s and most of the RD’s following Microsoft’s invitation to Redmond. We, @magrom and I, @atwork, could meet colleagues from all over the world in person – finally.
It was fun! But every event comes to an end. We were able to meet more friends before and after that week and we could enjoy the sunny Seattle area!
So, we really enjoyed MVP Summit 2018 and we are looking forward to our next community events this year!
