Yesterday, on the 22nd April 2017, the fifth Microsoft Global Azure Bootcamp happened worldwide where user groups and communities organized events to learn about Azure and Cloud Computing. In Austria, the #GAB happened in Linz. We had a great day with Azure and the community!
See details at the website of global.azurebootcamp.net.
The official twitter hashtag was #GlobalAzure (but many, as I, used #GAB2017, but that’s life ).
As in the years before, Rainer Stropek (MVP, RD) with Karin and their team of Coding Club Linz organized the event in Austria, Linz in Wissensturm, see Global Azure Bootcamp 2017 in Austria.
A bunch of Azure experts and MVPs joined the event. Our Azure Meetup Vienna community also joined the event. There were 5 tracks and a lot of interesting sessions at GAB in Linz (see schedule). More than 140 attendees joined the cost free event on Saturday!
I (@atwork) had a session about “PowerApps for Power Users”. Find my presentation (from another event) online here.

After the event some community people had a nice dinner at Pizzeria L'Osteria Linz.
Thanks @sebfrei, @wstrasser and @magrom for some of the snapshots via Twitter!

The Global Azure Bootcamp event took place in over 250 locations. Impressive!
Thanks again to Coding Club Linz for organizing the community event and to all sponsors, speakers and attendees for making this a success.
Hope you all enjoyed the Austrian Global Azure Bootcamp 2017 and CU again!
